On the evening of February 4, 2026, Mr. Peng Yizhong, Chairman of Shanghai Jianhang, led a business delegation to hold constructive talks with a Qatari business delegation led by Sheikh Saleh in Doha, Qatar. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on cooperation opportunities in Africa and the Middle East, and reached important consensus on establishing a strategic cooperative partnership.

The talks were held in a friendly and pragmatic atmosphere. Both sides focused on exploring cooperation potential in infrastructure, agricultural development and resource development. Chairman Peng Yizhong introduced the company’s capabilities in international project operation and expressed the willingness to join hands with Qatari enterprises to explore the international market. The two sides identified three key cooperation areas: water projects in North Africa, large-scale farms and agricultural product processing projects, and mineral resources cooperation in East Africa.
