On June 16, 2026, Zheng Weigang, General Manager of Shanghai Jianhang Nigeria Company, and Qian Wei, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Huangyi Group, jointly hosted a delegation led by the Edo State Energy Commissioner, Hon. Paul Ehigie Usenbo, in Beijing. The Jianhang team extended a warm welcome to the Commissioner and his delegation.

During the meeting, Zheng Weigang briefed Commissioner Usenbo on the latest developments of Jianhang's investment projects in Nigeria and outlined the company's expansion plans in the energy and agriculture sectors. Commissioner Usenbo noted that energy and agriculture are priority industries for Edo State's economic development, and align closely with Jianhang's investment strategy. He welcomed Jianhang to further scale up its investments in the state and to explore opportunities in a broader range of sectors. He also assured the company of the Edo State Government's continued policy support and service facilitation for the implementation of its projects.

The meeting further strengthened the cooperation between Jianhang and the Edo State Government. Both sides agreed to maintain close communication and coordination to ensure the effective follow-up and execution of their collaborative initiatives.
