On June 12, 2026 senior management of Shanghai Jianhang Investment Co., Ltd. accompanied Mr. Lucky and his delegation, distinguished clients from Nigeria, to visit Shandong Mingbo Aquaculture Co., Ltd., conducting an on-site inspection of China’s leading industrial recirculating aquaculture projects. The inspection aims to precisely connect China’s mature fishery equipment and technologies with the actual demands of the African market, opening up new avenues for Sino-African fishery cooperation.

The delegation visited intelligent recirculating aquaculture workshops, complete water treatment equipment zones and digital fishery exhibition halls, gaining in-depth insights into the core advantages of land-based recirculating aquaculture systems, including high water-saving efficiency, controllable breeding environment, stable and high-yield production.

According to the technical team of Mingbo Aquaculture, compared with traditional aquaculture models, the industrial recirculating aquaculture system features prominent water conservation performance with several times higher unit output. Equipped with intelligent monitoring devices and zero-discharge tail water treatment systems, the technology is adaptable to diverse climates and geographical conditions, forming a mature industrialized application system across China.

Combined with the current development status of Nigeria’s fishery industry, Mr. Lucky conducted in-depth exchanges with the participating parties on equipment adaptation, project investment and technology export.

Both sides are optimistic about the market prospects of recirculating aquaculture technology in Africa. Leveraging the cooperative channels of Jianhang, the parties plan to promote the implementation of modern aquaculture projects in Nigeria. Supported by China’s sophisticated fishery equipment and breeding technologies, the cooperation will drive the transformation and upgrading of local fishery industries and expand new space for economic and trade cooperation in aquatic products between China and Africa.
